By now, you’ve heard the news. No need to recount the incidents here. And besides, since this is a venue where the deeper depths of Game are plumbed, that is what I hope to do against the backdrop of the empty lives of these two Men.

Back in the Summer, Roissy came under tremendous fire for suggesting that George Sodini probably would not have killed so many innocent Women had he had Game. Of course, I agreed with his analysis, because the pattern of Men Behaving Badly-& Deadly-is by now, just too big to ignore.

Both Hasan and Rodriguez, Sodini and Cho, and many others, were, in a word, Losers-guys with no connections to the larger world. No girlfriends, or homies, or social life to speak of. Nearly all fanatical Muslim terrorists share this profile: see Muhammad Atta.

Game by definition, forces Men to become social animals, because that’s the world in which Women inhabit. And Men those do well in that world, tend not to wind up doing what Hasan and others do.

But, before one can enjoy the company of Women on a whole host of levels, Men like Hasan etc, have to take a good long look inside themselves, and make some deepseated changes. As we can see, it’s very difficult, for many many Men, to do this.

Perhaps the biggest irony, wrt Hasan, is that he carried out his final act in a setting that was supposed to represent all that is Manly and Good. And in watching the coverage of Ft. Hood, with all due respect to the Army, my how far have we fallen.

SMH. Game just may be the Last Best Hope for the World.

Holla back

Definitely true for Sodini and Cho. Haven’t read the complete reports about Orlando (although it would be interesting to find out if the shootings occurred in that turd Alan Grayson’s district), or anything about Jason Rodriguez’ background yet, so can’t draw any conclusions.

However, I don’t think Game would be a very foreign concept to a Muslim extremist (and I say this knowing that Obs is an adherent of that faith) who believes that he shouldn’t have to play it and that women’s options should be severely limited.

I don’t know if Hasan was single, not getting any, or both, but even if not, I really find it hard to believe that this was a motivating factor for him. Remember too that Mohammed Atta was in fact married, as were several of his cohorts, some of whom left children now without their daddies.

  1. I love the last line: “Game just may be the Last Best Hope for the World.”

    This is beyond parody, OB.

I came to the same conclusion when I read the Washington Post article which said he had trouble finding a wife . . . men with wives and children tend not to go psycho killer. Those who are bitter at the world, weather it be their employer, chicks, or the government, will lash out when they lose hope and/or feel they have no viable options left. In Hasan’s case it had to do with the government, but I suspect if he had a wife, he would have thought twice about slinging led and would likely have considered the responsibility to safeguard/support his wife and kids more important than going ape shit over an Afghanistan deployment.

Charles Manson, Ted Bundy, and OJ Simpson, to name just a few, are famous criminals who had lots of game. Would even more game have halped them?

Mack, excellent point. However, with the exception of Bundy, none of these guys were “mass murderers” in the same vein of say, Hasan, Cho or Dylan and Klebold.

This argument is moronic. Roissy is closer to Sodini than most guys, because both men have serious rage issues and both men are empty inside.

The real underlying problem is that lack of empathy with others makes it harder to relate to people, form relationships, and get laid. That lack of empathy also makes it easier for a person to do something crazy.

    Oh Lord!

Game does not cure everything. It will not cure cancer, fix up the economy, solve climate change etc. Not all human psychopathology is due to lack of game, but for the bitter betas who have trouble forming relationships, game delivers the goods.

There is no one tool that will fix the world’s problems.

  2. Please see my own comments on Sodini. Fundamental psychological problems have to be addressed before anything like game can be effective.

I do not think that men who have been treated poorly are going to ‘look inside themselves and change’.

It is just so much easier to kill the ‘deserving’. Technology makes it even better.. in the old days an enraged solitary man could only kill a few.

Someday, a solitary angry man is going to pull off some truly evil crap.

I’m actually surprised there haven’t been more mass killings by men disconnected from society. I personally have trouble making friendships and develoiping relationships. no matter what I do, nothing changes. I may snap at some point, saying “fuck it all” and doing something destructive.

  3. I would advise against that, Rocky – both for your sake and the sake of others.
